OSPIRG Staff

Celeste Meiffren is OSPIRG's Consumer and Taxpayer Advocate. She works to ensure that Oregon consumers are informed and empowered and that taxpayer dollars are spent in ways that benefit the public. Her responsibilities include research and report writing, working with coalition partners in the community, developing and implementing campaigns and educating and empowering our members and the public.

Previously, Meiffren was the Field Director for Illinois PIRG, Citizen Outreach Director with the Fund for the Public Interest and worked on city council campaigns in New York City. She attended the University of Arizona.
