I urge you to fight for strong health care reform that will: • Cut costs by reducing red tape and overhead through simplified insurance forms, information technology and insurer-efficiency standards, • Stop insurance companies from discriminating against people with pre-existing conditions, • Give doctors the most up-to-date information on which treatments and medicines work best, • Give Americans without job-based coverage the option of a public health insurance plan.
