Oregon has one of the worst foreclosure rates in the country, dragging down our home values and the economy along with it.  Oregonians will lose $2.5 billion in home equity this year alone because of foreclosures. Neither the state Legislature nor Congress has done enough to stop the problem.

SB 628, sponsored by State Senator Suzanne Bonamici, would help slow down the foreclosure crisis by requiring borrowers and lenders to try and make a deal before the foreclosure happens.
